Case Studies

Bell Creek Project
Foraco delivered an integrated drilling program to support the expansion of the Bell Creek Mine’s paste-fill system. The project brought together surface, underground, rotary, and percussive drilling to achieve precise alignment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Reduced Angle RC Drilling
To access potential ore deposits in steep and rugged terrain, the project used a radio remote-controlled RC rig with Measurement While Drilling. More than 1,000 metres were drilled across seven angled holes, with excellent sample recovery and minimal deviation, completing the project safely and under budget.

Water Level Drawdown System
To support continued excavation at the Buraco Dam, the project used reverse circulation percussion and diamond drilling, along with dewatering wells and monitoring systems to effectively control groundwater levels.
Foraco Brazil

Remote Stratigraphic Drilling – Northern Territory
This remote drilling program combined rotary mud drilling and HQ3 coring across three stratigraphic core holes. Extensive planning and site coordination allowed the project to be completed ahead of schedule, under budget, and without incident.
